It's currently believed that John was born in Pennsylvania (abt.1791) but its currently proving hard to trace his ancestors any further back.
John & Susanna had 10 Children:
Anney, Thomas, Jeremiah, John, Amanda, Henrietta Green, Hannah, Jacob, Nelson
& Mary.
I had this small family tree in the online database for quite some time and it never really changed at all. Then at the start of 2008, Martin Shepherd (a family member) contacted me and gave me a lot of family documentation that really started to expand the tree.
As part of the documentation that Martin passed to me was a research paper by Justin Kirk Houser. This paper indicates that there seemed to be 2 main unconnected Flack Families in Centre County, Pennsylvania, around the start of the 1800's. One being Samuel Flack (b. ,,,,,, Ireland) and this John Flack (b.1791, PA).
It is obviously quite possible that John and Samuel are connected, but we just can't find out how yet.
