Raymond Charles Flack (1910 - 2001)

Raymond Charles Flack, 90, of Westland, Michigan died at 12.34 pm July 13th at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital, Garden City, Michigan.

Born Sept 26, 1910 in Butler, he was the son of Charles Edgar and Stella Ann Cruikshank Flack.

He attended the University of Pittsburgh for 3 years and had been superintendant of production planning for Armco-Butler Works. He retired in 1975 after 42 years.

Mr Flack was a member of the Butler Armco Veterans Club and was a charter member of the Esquire Club.

He was also a member and past master of Victory Lodge 694 F&MM and a member of Ancient and Scottish Rite-Valley of New Castle, A.A.O.N.S. Shrine Caravan 14 of Butler, Butler Shrine Luncheon Club and the Legion of Honor of DeMolay

Surviving are a daughter Mrs William (Joyce) Serafin of Garden City; a son David Flack of Colorado Springs, Colorado; six grandchildren; and a great grandson. Two stepsons, James Clements of Slippery Rock and Kaye Clements of Rockville, Maryland; four stepgrandchildren and three step greatgrandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Aline B Flack who died 10th October 1974. His second wife Alice Clements Flack, died 7th Novemeber 1980. His third wife Vevia G Croll Flack, died 24th Nov 1999. Also preceding him in death were a son and a sister.

FLACK - Friends of Raymond Charles Flack who died Friday, July 13 2001 will be received from 9 to 10.30 a.m. Saturday at Thompson Miller Funeral Home, 124E.North St. A memorial service will follow at 1030am Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Andrew Verner, associated pastor of First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at North Side Cemetery.
