Mrs Deborah Anna Flack (nee Eckman) 1851-1938

Mrs Deborah Anna Flack, aged 81, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Charles A Kinch, 229 East Brady Street at 10.40 o'clock last night. She was the widow of John L Flack, who preceded her in death 13 years ago.

Mrs Flack was born at Spring Church, Armstrong County, the daughter of the late Joseph & Anna Eckman, and had resided in Butler for 46 years.

She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Butler and a charter member of the South Side Womens Christian Temperance Union.

Surviving are the following children:-
Harry H of Royalty, Texas;
Mrs Charles A Kinch of Butler;
Dr Arthur M of Philadlephia;
John E, William P and Charles E Flack of Butler;
Mrs Laura M Horning of Wichita Falls, Texas;
Richard L Flack of Butler;
Mrs J Audley McClymonds of Rose Point;
29 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family has requested that friends please omit flowers.

Feneral services will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs Charles A Kinch, 229 East Brady Street, at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon with the Rev. H A Baum, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church of Butler officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
