WILL OF WILLIAM FLACK - (1775-1830)

In the name of God Amen. I William Flack of Brackah , parish of Loughgilly and county of Armagh, being weak of body but sound of mind and judgement, thanks be to God for all his mercies, do make and publish this my last will and testament in writing as follows viz do bequeath this place (chattels ???) and all that appertains thereto, to my son John Flack, I also do bequeath that farm of ( …….. ) which I purchased from John Moffit Steel, to my son John ( ……..) for keeping and supporting my son James….also do bequeath to my son Hugh £ 130 of good lawful money, I therefore request and hope that John and Hugh will live together and commence dealing whatever they may think best to make (……………….) if Hugh acts wisely, the executors will make him an acknowledgement of this place over and above what is already mentioned ( ……. ) I bequeath to my daughter Jane £20 sterling hoping and trusting that they will all conduct themselves wisely and show the world that they are observing of my last ( ? wishes ) and may the God of all living be with them all. If there is not money enough to pay my son Hugh and my daughter Jane and my funeral expenses (…….) must come off the place. I nominate and appoint my brother Hugh Flack and William McClelland my executors. Signed sealed and delivered in their presence 20th June 1830.

(1) William McClelland was married to Jane Flack ( 26 Oct 1827 ), in Cremore ( therefore son in law)
(2) George Flack married Elizabeth Crothers of Acton Mills 5th Feb 1834 He must have been the son of the other George ( ie a nephew of the will maker)
