  Family History PENNSYLVANIA - WASHINGTON COUNTY Tree610J - Descendants of John A Flack (1758-1833) and Jane Gault (1761-1823). John A Flack and Jane Gault settled in Washington County, Pennsylvania. They had had the following children:- James, John, Samuel, David and Mary Jane Flack.

  I have fond memories of Aunt Eva. I am certain she had a very difficult life without much in the way of conveniences. On the small farm at Hackensack, Stanley and Eva heated their house with wood. Her sons Bud and Lester cut and choped most of the wood for them and I think their son Vernon may have purchased the farm for them. She even cooked her meals on a wood stove. Aunt Eva always had a smile on her face and a pleasant word for everyone. Whenever I visited, Uncle Stanley would always say "I know you're one of the Moselles' but I don't know which one." However, Aunt Eva always knew who I was. They lived in several apartments on Cedar Avenue and Aunt Eva could usually be seen sitting at the window looking out at all of the street activity. For a time Grandfather Flack lived with them. During this time, he would frequently walk to mother's house (Margaret Moselle) on 21st Avenue carrying his cane and a container of oysters for which mother would prepare oyster stew.
