BIOGRAPHY: Extracts from letter by James Flack (b. Oct.-7-1834 d. Nov-23-1917) written in 1909/1910:-
"Our ancestor James Flack .......emigrated to this country in about 1733 from the North of Ireland. The Flacks's were of Presbytarian faith and most likely driven out at the time of the persecution of Christians in that country. Part of this information was obtained from a conversation I had with an intelligent old man living in Doylestown some years ago and who had come to this country from the north of Ireland."

"My Grandfather told me that his Grandfather came from Ireland and had maried an Irish girl who, I find from examining the records, was Ann Baxter."

"Our ancestor, James Flack, lived to the great age of 94 yearsand died September 2, 1802, his wife Ann (Baxter) having passed away over a year before - March 23, 1801, aged 87 years"
