The farm, located in Wayne county, Ohio, was on Little Killbuck Creek. James also purchased a town lot in Wooster at a cost of $100.00. (Lot Number 72 located on the corner of Grant and North Streets) James later built and operated a mill. On the farm James raised wheat, corn, rye and oats. CENSUS: General Ohio Census comments:-
(1) Before 1820 Ohio wasn't a State. So 1820 is the earliest Ohio Census record.
(2) In the 1820 Ohio census there are only 3 FLACK's shown:-
(i) Job Flack in Wayne Township, Warren County.
(ii) Richard Flack in Praire Township, Wayne County (Prarie Township later became part of the new Holmes County)
(iii) James Flack in Chester Township, Wayne County (This stayed in Wayne County)
(3) The latter 'James Flack' is, I belive, this James Flack as it follows through in all the later census records in Chester County.
