BIOGRAPHY: There was a Huge Flack Family in Pennsylvania that descended from James Flack and Ann Baxter and they used to hold a 'Family Reunion' every year. In 1932 The Rev Ebenezer Flack along with his wife and sons George and Harold attented the Reunion as guests (NOTE - this isn't THEIR family) and this was noted in both the Doylestown Daily Intelligencer report and the 'Sign In' sheet for those attending. (1869-1962) A Tribute, Published in the pages of The Scranton Times, PA (10 Nov 1962) Death Claims Dr Flack, 92; Served Here The Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Flack, 92, a Presbyterian minister in this area for many years, died today at Daytona Beach, Florida. He lived at Daytona Beach for the last 10 years and previously wintered there for two decades. Dr Flack retired in 1939 from the Presbyterian ministry in which he served for 47 years. His last pastorate was for 19 years at Kingston. Previously he served at the Washburn Street Presbyterian Church, now part of the Hyde Park Presbyterian Church, and at churches in Whitehaven, Plymouth, Latrobe and Newburg New York. A native of Ulster, Northern Ireland, Dr Flack was the oldest living graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary. For 37 years he was a Trustee of Wilson College, Chambersburg, and from 1910 to 1912 was moderator of the Synod of Pennsylvania. His wife Sarah Hutcheson Flack, with whom he shared his 58th wedding anniversary in 1952, died that same year. Surviving are two daughters; Henrietta Flack, Daytona Beach and Dr Agnes N Flack, Medical Director of the Virgin Islands; Three sons State Sen Harold E Flack, Dallas, PA; Robert K Flack, LaCrescenta, California; and George W Flack, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. A sister Mrs Agnes Graham, Belfast, Ireland; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
